SOUTH AFRICA: BIRDS OF EDEN

Just a few feet away from Monkeyland, there’s the amazing Birds of Eden sanctuary. We had lunch on the lawn and then walked over after spending the morning taking pictures of monkeys.

e41e8d1e-6ecb-4df8-8f32-ae338c662ad7Birds of Eden is the world’s largest single dome, free-flight, multi-species aviary. There are thousands of birds and hundreds of species here – plus it looks like Jurassic Park.

IMG_0853.jpgBirds of Eden was created to re-home unwanted birds, and give them all the opportunity to live in a more natural environment.
